Make no mistake: the 2009 U.S indoor season has belonged to Icon's Terrence Trammell.

It marked the conclusion of a spectacular winter for TT, who rebounded from a hamstring injury suffered at the Beijing Olympics with a remarkable streak of victories.
As he told the Associated Press after winning Visa in Boston:
"I'm grateful to be able to run the way I've run this winter," said Trammell, who was injured just before the first heat of the Olympic 110 hurdles in Beijing. "I think this is just the tip of the iceberg. I always thought I could run under 7:40."
HONORED BY USATF
In recognition of his performance, USA Track and Field named Terrence its Athlete of the Week.
Terrence Trammell has been named USA Track & Field's Athlete of the Week after winning the men's 60m hurdles and the Visa Championship Series title Sunday at the 2009 USA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Boston.
A two-time Olympic and World Outdoor silver medalist, Trammell put the men's Visa Championship and its $25,000 payday out of reach with a near-perfect run in the men's 60m hurdles. Already the Visa points leader with 1,226 entering the USA Championships, Trammell led from start to finish, winning in 7.37 seconds to break Reggie Torian's 10-year-old meet record of 7.38. The time was just .01 off the American record, was a 2009 world leader and gave him 1,259 points in the Visa standings.
