Final rosters were announced on Monday for the 2011 IAAF World Championships and Icon will be well represented in Daegu.

Olympic champions LaShawn Merritt and Angelo Taylor top a list of nine Icon athletes headed to the South Korean city for the 13th IAAF World Championships.

Angelo Taylor will compete in one of the most highly anticipated events at Worlds, the 400-meter hurdles along with Icon's reigning U.S. Champion Jeshua Anderson.

LaShawn Merritt will compete in the 400-meter dash, looking to defend his 2009 crown in the event. He is also in the pool to run in the 4x400 relay for Team USA. Joining him in that pool is fellow Icon sprinter Greg Nixon, who will also run the 400 dash alongside his compatriot.

Will Claye will also compete in two events in Daegu, lacing up for both the long jump and the triple jump.

On the women's side of the field, Icon will be represented by four talented ladies in four events.

Jeneba Tarmoh (USA) and Oludamola Osayomi (Nigeria) will compete alongside one another in the 200-meter dash, as part of a packed field in the highly anticipated sprint. Oludamola will also run the 100-meter dash. Fellow Nigerian Ajoke Odumosu will be put to the test in the Women's 400-meter hurdles.

The latest addition to the field is Keshia Baker, who was announced on Monday as a late replacement for the injured Debbie Dunn in Team USA 4x400 relay pool on the women's side.

The 13th IAAF World Championships commence on Saturday, August 27th in Daegu, South Korea and continue through Sunday, September 4th.
