Icon's Angelo Taylor and Ajoke Odumosu finished the season out strong, placing at a handful of events throughout the month of August.

First, Angelo competed at DN Galan in Stockholm, Sweden, finishing the 400 meter hurdles in 3rd place at 49.57.

On August 19th, he clocked his season's best of 44.72, ranking third in the 400 meter hurdles at Weltklasse Zurich. Ajoke matched him, also taking third in the 400 meter hurdles with 55.11.

A day after a sixth place finish at the Belgacom Memorial Van Damme in Brussels, Belgium on August 27th, Angelo turned in a strong performance in a race he doesn't typically race.

At Rieti 2010, Angelo finished off his season with a jolt, lowering his personal best to 20.23 in the 200 meter hurdles.

And as if not to be outdone, Ajoke won a silver medal at the African championships, taking the 400mH in 55.97. She then turned in a career-best performance at the 2010 IAAF Continental Cup at Split, Croatia, on September 4th, finishing in second with a time of 54.59 -- a Nigerian record.
