Bowman, Cherry Advance at USA Outdoor Championships
06/25/2010 - 22:30 by Icon Management Staff Sarah Bowman and Damu Cherry have put themselves in position to contend for titles at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Bowman clocked a 4:13.34 in her preliminary 1500m race Thursday, good enough for a seventh place finish and less than two seconds off the lead. The final takes place Saturday. Meanwhile, Cherry took third in her qualifier for the 100mH, finishing in a time of 13.02. The semifinal race is Saturday, the final on Sunday.
